In 1901 Wilhelm Konrad Roentgen was the first recipient of the Nobel Prize for Physics, and he truly deserves his place in history because his discovery revolutionized the medical world. A series of experiments helped him notice that barium platinocyanide emits a fluorescent glow. Combining his observation with a photographic plate and his wife’s hand, he made the first X-ray photo, and thus, made it possible to look inside the human body without surgical intervention.

There’s actually a small dispute about this, since Telsa was doing the same work at the same time. He sent samples to Roentgen, who was intregued by Telsa’s work. I guess since Telsa didn’t have nearly as bad rivalry as he did with Edison, no one pressed the issue. Kudos to both men.

I’m american and i would gladly give up my rights as an american. America gives you the right to vote, but not to make any impact or change. I’d gladly fight for a revolution where my vote actually counts. I’d gladly leave this place in search for a society based on sustainability instead of profit. Well, just to let you know, this photo is not the first x-ray photo. For all you here that don’t know that. X-rays was first spotted by Nikola Tesla, when he was testing his high frequency electricity. He also made the photo, which he send to Rentgen shortly after Rentgen recieved Nobel prize for something he didn’t invent.
In the book about Nikola Tesla it’s written, that when rentgen got his Nobel prize for finding X-rays, Nikola Tesla sended him the photo made by those rays and Rentgen replyed back to Nikola Tesla. How the hell did he got that photo. Because the Rentgen got his Nobel prize for written theory about X-rays, but he never did the photo, while on the other side Nikola Tesla had photos made by X-rays, but Nikola called them differently. If you want to know more, read about it in John J. O’Neal, THE LIFE OF NIKOLA TESLA.
X-rays were invented by Nikola Tesla, like many things that he invented, but was stolen from him.
So, my point is that this is not first X-ray photo. It’s first X-ray photo made by Rentgen, but for sure, not the first photo. So it would be really nice if you can change the comment on that photo, because it’s lie and fake.
